2631Cold Work Tool Steel
Ideal for severely stressed machine blades in the cellulose, paper, and fiberboard industries, where high toughness and resistance to dynamic loading are crucial. It is also widely used for flat-blade and circular blades designed to cut sheets or plates ranging from 5 to 15 mm in thickness.

Continuous Cooling Transformation (CCT)
Tempering
Hardening
Harden from a temperature of 1020 - 1050°C followed by oil, air or warm bath (approx. 400°C) quenching. Hardness after quenching is 61 HRC.
Forging
Hot forming temperature: 1050 - 900°C.
