Strategic investment cycle 2007-2011We are closing the year 2011 with another major investment of our strategic investment cycle, the boldest investment cycle in the history of Metal Ravne ever. We started our strategic cycle with the forging press 40-45 MN and our new Blooming Mill 5700 kW/Ø 930 mm in the years 2007/2008, continued with the new Teeming Pit for ingots up to 45 t in 2009 and investment into machining at Serpa up to 40 t weight in 2010, and we are closing it now at the end of 2011 with a new ESR plant for ingots up to 50 t and Ø 1400 mm. The goal of our strategic investments is to meet our customers' demands and to contribute to their successful performance and competitive position in the market. With our new investments, we are expanding our production spectrum, and provide better quality of our products for our:
- Forging press – up to φ 1050 mm, up to sq. 950 mm, up to fl. 1800x500 mm and/or fl. 1200x700
- ESR – for end products up to φ 900 mm, up to sq. 800 mm, up to fl. 1500x400 and/or up to fl. 1000x650
- Machining at Serpa – machining up to 40 t weight
- Blooming Mill – better product quality
- Teeming Pit – better product quality
